Oldfield ya tiene candidatos para cantar en su disco de rock

Oldfield llevaba ya tiempo sin escribirnos en su facebook para actualizar como iban los proyectos que tiene en mente, pero hoy nos ha sorprendido con éste mensaje:

Hi everyone,
Just finishing up the 5.1 Five Miles Out remix right now.
I am mixing the actual song and it really sounds wonderful.
There are so many ways to mix it and every one sounds just great.
The Crises multi tracks have arrived and I have checked them, just missing
In High Places, Foreign Affair and Taurus 3.
Have had a quick look at Moonlight Shadow and it's magic you just push the faders up and it sounds fantastic. Found an extra Maggie Reilly vocal take so will have a good look at that.
Steve Lipson and I have been listening to young newcomer vocalists for the rock album and we are very impressed with one male and one female singer so far.
How much new talent there must be out there!
So will keep you up to date on how things are going.

Oldfield comenta que está terminando el 5.1 de Five Miles Out, y que se encuentra ahora mismo mezclando la pista que da título al disco. Tiene muchas formas de mezclarla, y todas suenan fenomenal. Ha recibido ya algunas cintas de Crises, pero aún no tiene 'In High Places', 'Foreign Affair' y 'Taurus 3'. Está echándole un ojo a las multipistas de Moonlight Shadow, y ha encontrado una pista vocal distinta de Maggie, y que le echarán un ojo a ver que hacen con ello.

Y finalmente comentan que están haciendo audiciones para jóvenes vocalistas para el disco de rock, y que están muy impresionados con una chica y un chico hasta el momento. 

Es de imaginar que las nuevas reediciones de éste año se retrasarán un poco, pues aún el proyecto está algo a medias, y el nuevo disco, si las cosas siguen su curso posiblemente lo tengamos de septiembre en adelante. Ya se verá.
